Morning Satsang
During the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course, we will start the day with morning satsang. This will allow you to create the healthy habit to start your day with meditation and pranayama (breathing exercises).
We will also do silent walks and gentle stretching exercises.
The goal is to develop a morning routine to start your day.
How to teach Yoga - Theory and practice
During this class you will gain the required skills and confidence to teach your own yoga classes by the end of this course.
You will discover the theory behind the asanas, their proper alignment, benefits, variations, correction techniques and more. Each day you will practice teaching in small groups. This will allow you to grow into a confident, professional yoga teacher.
This class is suited for anyone who wants to learn how to teach yoga, but also for those who simply want to discover more about the asanas and the physical practice of Yoga.

Philosophy
During philosophy class we will study the foundations of Yoga and yoga philosophy, its origins, history and development.
By examining the theory, but also by placing that theory into daily life and group discussions, you will be encouraged reflect on your own life. You will learn how the yoga philosophy can support you in your daily life. We will look beyond the original, ancient theory, and connect it to our modern society. The philosophy classes will offer you in dept development as a yoga teacher, but also as a yoga practitioner.

Anatomy & Physiology
The anatomy & physiology classes will offer you a better understanding of the physical body. We will examine the functioning, the effects and the benefits from the yoga asanas on the physical body. These insights of the physical body and the asanas will allow you to guide your students better as a teacher, and to improve your own practice. After these classes you will be better informed to offer proper variations to your students and yourself.
By understanding your own body better, you will notice an increase of self awareness and more benefits from your asana practice.

Asana Practice
Enjoy daily asana classes. Thanks to these classes you will get the habbit to do a daily yoga practice and to lift your own practice to a higher level. It is not required to have an advanced asana level to be able to participate to the course. Everyone will enjoy individual guidance, asanas will always be modified and offered according to each student’s individual possibilities.
During this class you will be encouraged safely and professionaly to grow beyond your limits. The asana classes will also offer you a deeper understanding of the theory classes.
Karma Yoga
A caracteristic part of any stay in a yoga ashram is Karma Yoga, or selfless performance of your duties. Every participant will have a specfic responsibility to make sure that everyone’s stay in the ashram can be as smooth as possible.
When you perform your Karma Yoga with full attention and awareness, you will experience it as a kind of moving meditation, an exercise in mindfulness. It is an important exercise in humble, selfless service, separate from the ego, which brings peace and stillness in the present moment.
Evening Satsang
During the evening Satsang, we will create the habit to end the day with meditation, pranayama or another relaxing activity (walks, mantra chanting, yoga nidra,…). The goal of this class is to start an evening routine to end your day in a relaxing manner. You will also learn to develop an independant meditation practice which you will be able to continue after the course.
In-depth lessons
How to set up your own yoga studio
During this 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training, we will also take the time to look at the practicalities of setting up your own yoga studio. What are some important tips, what should you know before you start? How to make sure you can start teaching smoothly? Environment check, requirements, comon mistakes and more will be discussed during this class. Thanks to this class you will save a lot of time and energy when starting out as a yoga teacher.
Personal and spiritual development
Throughout the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training you will be guided during your personal and spiritual development. During your weekly reflexions, you will take the time to reflect on the past week and the many impressions you have had. Regular check-in discussions will give you the option to share and discuss your experiences with the teachers and your fellow students.
You will also get a few extra assignments to connect the classes to your life and your lifestyle.
As a consequence, you will not only gain more knowledge during this course, but you will also grow in awareness.

What to expect
The non residential 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training offers the same curriculum as the residential 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.
Classes will be taught live from Monday until Friday (9 AM – 5 PM). You will also receive assignments for selfstudy at home.

Yes. NewNature Yoga is a Yoga Alliance RYS (Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School) and our 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course is recognized by Yoga Alliance. This quality label confirms the high standards and the professionality of our training.
Will I be able to teach Yoga by the end of this course?
During the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course, you will gain the required knowledge and skills to teach professional yoga classes after receiving your certificate.
You will learn the theory and practice teaching in small groups to gain experience and confidence as a yoga teacher.
Will I receive a recognized Yoga teacher certificate by the end of the course?
Yes. After succesful completion of the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course, you will receive a 200 hour yoga teacher certificate, recognized by Yoga Alliance.
Is there an exam at the end of the course?
At the end of the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course, there is a theory exam and a practical exam. You will be properly prepared for both exams throughout the course.
After succesful completion of the exams, you will receive your yoga teacher certificate.
Participation in all classes is required to be able to receive the certificate.
What if I miss a day of class?
Participation in all classes is required to be able to receive your yoga teacher certificate.
However, we understand that sometimes there can be exceptional circumstances.
If you already know you will have to skip some classes? Let us know in advance so we can check what is possible. We always try to be flexible and look for solutions. Please contact us to inform about the possibilities.
I am not very flexible, is the course suited for me?
The 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training is accessible to all levels. Asanas will be modified and offered according to your individual possibilities. Flexibility is not a requirement to be able to join this course. Enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn are more than enough!
Which Yoga style will be taught?
During this 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training course, you will learn how to teach Hatha yoga.
You will also practice different styles of Yoga, like Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, to expand your knowledge and experience of different yoga styles.
I don't want to become a yoga teacher, can I follow this course?
Absolutely. The 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is also suited for those who want to learn more about yoga and are looking for personal growth and development. Even if you don’t want to become a yoga teacher, you can greatly benefit from this Yoga training.
